Did Opapatika director Thanakorn Pongsuwan see Kung Fu Dunk? That's the question that begs about his next project, Fireball, which is being promoted at the Hong Kong Filmart.Twitch's Todd Brown is there, and he has this to say about Fireball:
While it’s not in production just yet, the team behind it has prepared a lengthy demo reel to show off the concept and stunt performers. The premise? Full contact, no holds barred, Muay Thai basketball. In a sensible world this would be so ridiculous as to be unwatchable but our world has never been sensible in the entire history of ever and so this thing looks bloody well fantastic.
It does sound a lot more fun than suicide, that's for sure.
