Is there room for another film festival in Bangkok? Well sure, as long as it's competently run and gives the films, the filmmakers and the audience due consideration. And if it's a festival that offers a voice that's unique on the city's scene, that's even better.Is that what Bangkok IndieFest will give us? We shall see from June 4 to 6.
Produced by Camerado in association with Location Thailand, Bangkok IndieFest promises to be "a cross-cultural cinematic showcase of compelling non-mainstream independent films and videos from Thailand and the rest of the world."
Submissions are being accepted at the festival website.
