Once Upon a Time at the Children's International Film Festival

Once Upon a Time ... This Morning, a 1995 film by Bhandit Rittikol that was Thailand's submission for Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film, will be screened as part of the Second International Children's Film Festival in Bangkok.

The showtime is at 4:30pm on January 26 at Major Cineplex Pinklao. It will supposedly have English subtitles.

Once Upon a Time is a special screening. Organized by the Thai Film Foundation, with support from the Office of Knowledge Management and Development, the festival has three competition sections, Smell a Flower (ages 5 and up), Have a Heart (ages 9+) and See the Light (for kids 12 and beyond). Other films include the heartwarming Japanese feature Helen the Baby Fox, Ice Bar from South Korea and Akeelah and the Bee.

The festival is running from January 18 to 27, with feature films screening at Major Pinklao on Saturdays and Sundays. Other venues are TK Park at CentralWorld and the Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Anthropology Centre in Taling Chan.
