Ong-Bak 2 to make European premiere at Far East Film Festival
The 11th Far East Film Festival is set for April 24 to May 2 in Udine, Italy, and
boy, are they excited about their first announced title: Ong-Bak 2. It's making its European premiere. Registration for the Udine fest starts on February 16.
Meanwhile, Ong-Bak 2 has opened in Malaysia. The New Straits Times has a review (cache).
By now, I'd hoped that anyone going to watch the film had been clued in to the abrupt ending -- more of a sucker punch to the gut than a little surprise -- and that Ong-Bak 2 is intended as the first of two parts.
