In the Merlion City, it opened at No. 2 and is hanging in third place below the Bruce Willis robot-doubles thriller Surrogates and the animated Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs.
It's getting good reviews too. Here's MovieXclusive's Richard Lim Jr.:
Phobia 2 didn’t disappoint. In fact, the production value seems to have gone up a notch and sharper storytelling. Even though each segment contains a whole new story, if you look closer, there are some sorts of links to the first anthology.
And Stefan at A Nutshell Review sums up:
Have fun with Phobia 2, because I know I did. If I had to rank them in descending order of preference and enjoyment, then it'll be In the End, Backpackers, Ward, Novice then Salvage.
Yahoo Singapore has a page too.
in HK also.

One of my favorite films of 2009. Really can't wait for Phobia 3!
ReplyDeleteGah, is this what it feels like for Europeans who have to wait for American films to be released in Europe? Knowing it's still in theaters in its home country and that it could be a year to a year and a half before a release that is more accessible to you is sold?
