I Am the Director to premiere in Chiang Mai
I Am the Director, a documentary by Nitchapoom Chai-anant will premiere at 7pm on April 10 at Minimal Gallery on Nimmanhemin Soi 13 in Chiang Mai.
Nitchapoom interviews young acclaimed directors who've made it in feature films, like Wonderful Town director Aditya Assarat, Love of Siam's Chookiat Sakveerakul and Komkrit Treewimol of Fan Chan and Dear Dakanda, as well as a new crop of short-film directors who aspire to make a feature film.
The soundtrack is by indie rockers the Musketeers.
Ahead of the main feature, there will be a short film, The Unreasonable Man, by Suparat Boonmayam and Thai cinema's badboy, "Tao" Somchai Khemklad, who also stars.
There's a trailer for I Am the Director on YouTube, and it's embedded below.
