Chocolate to hit Japan, open Osaka fest
Chocolate will open the Osaka Asian Film Festival on March 13, with director Prachya Pinkaew and screenwriter Chukiat Sakveerakul (or as they are known in Japan, Pingeo Puratchaya and Sukkuvirakun Chukiatto) making an appearance.
Chukiat will also be on hand for the Kansai premiere of his acclaimed romantic drama The Love of Siam.
And Subhanahongsa Award-winning songwriter Kongdej Jaturanrasamee will head to Osaka for the Japan premiere of his romantic comedy-drama Handle Me With Care (Kod).
The Osaka fest runs from March 13 to 16.
Chocolate is also gearing up for the Shinjuku Piccadilly Roadshow, which starts May 23. There's a website and a trailer at YouTube (embedded below). Possibly the best Chocolate trailer yet, it cuts together all of Jeeja's Bruce Lee-like squeals as she commences to kick heads.
