The dates are set for the 7th World Film Festival of Bangkok. It will be held from November 6 to 15, 2009.
Festival director Victor Silakong is recently back from Cannes, where he was shopping for titles. And the festival staff are working their way through a stack of screener DVDs.
I'll have more information about the World Film Festival of Bangkok as I hear it.
There's at least one more major, non-genre-specific, feature-film festival expected this year in Bangkok, but since the dates aren't being announced, I won't mention any more about it for now.
