Muay Thai Chaiya is going to London for Terracotta fest

Muay Thai Chaiya (ไชยา) is among the titles at the Terracotta Far East Film Festival from May 21 to 24 at the Prince Charles Cinema.

The arthouse cinema in London's West End was at one time a "film-house of ill repute". Sounds like the perfect place to see Kongkiat Khomsiri's gritty tale of Bangkok's boxing underworld in the 1970s.

Other movies will include 2007's Malaysian horror-comedy, Zombies From Banana Village (Zombie Kampung Pisang).

There's also Oxide Pang's The Detective, which I've heard lots of good things about but have yet to see.

The festival is organized by indie distributor Terracotta Entertainment.
