Animated short Victim at Gulf Film Festival
The second Gulf Film Festival is on in Dubai, and among the 28 animated films is Victim, a short by Nattaporn Yiamchawee and Nattapol Nark-ngen.
The 10-minute computer-animated work is a psychological study of a man imprisoned in the solitary confinement of a small, square cell with no door and only light streaming in from above. As time goes by, the man loses his sense of reality.
Victim was featured in the competition at last year's 12th Thai Short Film & Video Festival, where it won a special mention Payut Ngaokrachang Award for animation. It's making its international premire in Dubai.
The Gulf Film Festival started April 9 and runs until April 15.
