Three Thai indie projects selected by Hubert Bals Fund

Features by Anocha Suwichakornpong, Jakrawal Nilthamrong and Sivaroj Kongsakul are among 31 projects selected by the Hubert Bals Fund of the International Film Festival Rotterdam to receive grants for script development, digital production, post-production, distribution or workshops.

Anocha's feature Mundane History was awarded funds for post-production and final financing. It's expected to screen in IFFR’s 39th edition, which runs from January 27 to February 7, 2010.

Sivaroj has been granted support in the Fund’s digital production category to make his debut feature Eternity (Tee Rak) produced by Aditya Assarat. The Pop Pictures blog has more on this project and details of the award.

Jakrawal has been awarded funds for script and project development for a feature with the English title Vanishing Point, which I doubt will have anything to do with car racing or a white Dodge Challenger.

The full list of grantees is at the IFFR website.
